Yep, it's one of those mornings....

Our big Sidewalk Sale this weekend was a MAJOR success but it has left me feeling like I have been hit by a semi truck! As exhausting as it is, these big sale weekends are my favorites. I love the energy that is created with a packed house of happy shoppers, getting to meet new customers and see all my regular favorites.  The excitement that people have on their faces when I ring them up and tell them their total is priceless to me! And the teamwork that my girls and myself displayed this weekend makes me one happy and proud boss!

So, a BIG thanks to all those who came out and to my fabulous girls!!! I love you all!

Let's face it, Blake Lively has got it going on! She is to die gorgeous, is about 9 feet tall, has a killer career and is rumored to be dating every girls dream, the one and only Leonardo Dicaprio (anyone remember Romeo & Juliet or Basketball Diaries?? Well I won't ever forget!). But what makes me crush on her the most is, surprise surprise, her style. She knows how to do that "girlish, sexy, sophisticated, chic" look like no one else out there. I adore the way she embraces bright colors and barely there nudes. And can we talk about that grey lace dress???? UGH, its just sooooooo good (I'm slightly obessed with grey). She embodies what it means to be a girl and what it means to have fun with style, which speaks to me beyond words. But above all, I love how this girl can sit at a table with Karl Lagerfeld, dressed to kill, with THE biggest smile on her face, looking as if she's out at her most favorite restaurant with her best girls. And that is why Blake Lively is a Style Girl Crush.

Each week I will be featuring my darling employees (and from time to time myself, hehe) wearing a look they created using items that we currently carry in the store. I asked the girls to create looks that speak true to their own personal style and ohhh my my do these girls have style! The color is eloquent and feminine with an element of sophistication.I chose a nude button dress by Plastic Island and paired it with a glamorous gold and turquoise cuff. This outfit is perfect for a night out in the city OR paired with flats, it can transform into daytime perfection. I am constantly updating my clothing collection and it does not get any better than when there is a  boutique SALE! This was one fun sale rack to browse. Lately I've been inspired by the whimsical and fun style of the Glitter Guide ladies, and thought I would put a Chloe Rose spin on my own look. I ended up choosing this cheerful Plenty by Tracy Reese party dress paired with a B-low The Belt studded belt to add a little edge to the outfit. Accented with a lovely gold Rebecca Minkoff bag and delicate Mali Sabatasso earrings, this outfit is perfect for my upcoming birthday celebration or an afternoon lunch out with girlfriends.
