Must Do(s) #1: Color Blocking with Bright Blazers & Colored Denim

This first "must do" embodies three key trends for this coming Spring season all rolled into one! (can we say fashion multi-tasking?) Bright blazers & colored denim are definite "must do's" on their own but put them together & you have got yourself another amazing, I hate to say it, "must do"... color blocking. I love this look particularly for right now because the colors aren't too bold, they are subtle enough to not look like you are trying too hard. Another great way to accomplish the color blocking look in a more subtle way is to simply pair either your colored denim or bright blazer with an amazing bright & colorful Rebecca Minkoff bag.

Must Do #2: The Maxi Skirt

Love Maxi dresses? Then you are going to LOVE the maxi skirt! Wear this piece now with a basic top tucked in (something tight to show off your frame), a chic leather jacket, your favorite booties, maybe even a circle scarf, and boom, your look is updated. Maxi skirts are especially perfect for us SFer's. It allows us to step out of our usual denim and into a skirt without freezing our little tushies off! I actually wore this exact look the other day and received many, many compliments.

Must Do #3: Pattern Pairing

This Spring is all about breaking the rules and taking a risk. One way to do this right is by pattern pairing. This look is my Winter take on Spring's pattern pairing trend, mixing  stripes fabulously with polka dots then finishing with clean dark denim, a covetable Rebecca Minkoff bag & your favorite jewelry. For Spring, there are endless pairing possibilities to create with stripes, florals, graphic prints, polka dots, & textured pieces. My best advice is to have fun & play around with your pairs, you pretty much can't go wrong!
