Look of the Week - Brights + White

As a stylist, boutique owner, buyer, & general fashion enthusiast I get bored of trends, colors, & the like very (almost too) quickly. As a result, I am constantly on the search for new inspiration. Being the LOVAH of killer color combos that I am, this tends to be the trend I seek out the most & this week's look of the week is inspired by my relentless need for fresh color combos. I am madly in love with the way the bright red clutch & the crisp mint blouse play off of each other, making a strong & unexpected color statement.

Girls night out is all about having fun, embracing color & I say the brighter the better! I love the way all the colors look together & perfectly match what is happening in the scarf. This is color blocking at its best!

The daily grind of work life can get exhausting & boring (especially in your wardrobe). I say give your uniform of black pants & a blazer a boost by adding a bright blouse! Bright Bold Floral

Bright & bold floral prints are a must wear this Spring season & I could not be more happy! Being the girly girl that I am, this is a trend that I have noo problem embracing. Some people may find that floral prints remind them of their grandmothers drapery & as a result, tend to shy away from it. A good way to approach this problem is to mix in chic, modern & fresh pieces. I have paired our bold floral top by Yoana Baraschi with a white trouser denim by MiH Jeans, a playful necklace from Jules Smith, a bright & edgy bag, & neutral classic heels both by Rebecca Minkoff.

A Floral Affair

I'm sure it goes as no surprise that my floral affair is with roses. After all, they are half of the inspiration for the name of this sweet little boutique that I own! A rose, in a way, embodies the type of woman I want to be: beautiful, natural, timeless, colorful but also neutral, and not to mention, delicious smelling (something that is high on my list, I am a scent fanatic!). I love how roses can instantly lift up your mood, make your day brighter & always seem to add a bit of romance to everything. One of my most cherished activites is to take a stroll down my lovely Union Street to the flower stand, buy a few roses in whatever color tickles my fancy that day & then come home, put them in my living room & enjoy their beauty. This is something that always brings a smile to my face & helps de-stress me for just a few moments.

Coral + Mint Dreams

Does a more fun, fresh & chic color combo exist? Possibly, but for me coral & mint sure know how to make my heart swoon! I love the way the cool & subtle mint bag contrasts so well with the bright & punchy coral dress. To make this look approachable, I styled it with simple yet feminine jewelry & neutral sandals (which you probably already have in your closet). Now, just add a smile & voila, you have got yourself a perfect Spring look!

The Chloe Rose Girl Wears - Coachella Inspired

What to wear for those of us who are staying in the city this weekend but with a Coachella twist...

It is hard for me to put into words how much I LOVE this look. I find it to be so fresh, so sophisticated, & sooo NOW! I seriously would wear this whole outfit everyday for the rest of my life if I could. What makes it so eye catching to me is the fact that each piece is strong individually but when paired together create one powerful & on trend look. And can we please talk about those shoes?? Not only are they gorgeous but they are insanely comfortable!

I hope for all of you ladies going to Coachella, that you have a BLAST & for the ladies like me that are not, I hope you have a relaxing, fun & productive weekend!

The Chloe Rose Girl Wears - Coachella Pool Party

Now, I have heard & seen (thanks to facebook) that some people go down to Coachella but don't actually attend the event. Instead, they rent out big houses with big pools & throw big pool parties. This seems a little strange to me but again, I am not one to say no to a great pool party. With that being said, todays Coachella look is for the fun pool party girl (can you hear my jealousy? Cause it is screaming loudly from my head right now, hehe)!

The Chloe Rose girl wants to stand out while still looking appropriate at any function she attends. This brightly colored romper is perfect when paired with a fun sandal, an easy bag & a simple necklace. She looks fun, sexy, & on trend while still looking classy & simple.
